Grainger Actuated Ball Valve 3 In 316 SS
The electrically actuated ball valves on Grainger's website are designed for on/off control of fluids in industrial applications. They feature a ball and socket design that rotates 90 degrees to stop or start flow. The valves are available in bronze or stainless steel bodies in sizes from 1/4" to 2" NPT. They can be actuated with 24VAC/DC or 120VAC solenoid valves and have a Cv flow coefficient range of 4.5 to 32.0. The valves have a pressure rating up to 600 psi and temperature range of -4 to 257°F. They are manufactured by companies like ASCO and NIBCO.
Grainger Actuated Ball Valve 2 In 316 SS
The Pneumatically Actuated Two-Way Ball Valve by ASCO is a 1/4 inch NPT brass body valve with a stainless steel ball and stem. It has a maximum pressure rating of 150 psi and temperature rating of -20 to 180 degrees Fahrenheit. This normally closed valve shifts positions when pressure is applied to the air pilot section. It can be used for on/off and diverting applications with air, water, oil and inert gas. The valve shifts positions in less than 50 milliseconds.

filling Position the bubbler on its side with the left hose barb (as shown in the drawing) pointing straight up then pipette 15 mL of oil through the hose barb into the bubbler reservoir. Position bubbler vertically as shown in drawing and it is ready to use. Principal of operation Gas enters the bubbler from the hose barb on the right and flows through the bubbler exiting at the left. The gas pressure unseats the check-valve ball to release the pressure bubbling up through the oil and out the left side. The check-valve ball reseats itself when pressure is neutralized. The advantage of a check-valve over bubbler such as Z223719 which does not have one is that it prevents oil from being drawn from the bubbler reservoir into the reaction if a sudden negative pressure occurs.
